1. Define who the project should help and the specific need.
2. Choose one achievable outcome and how completion will be verified.
3. Identify the youth responsibilities and a named accountable adult.
4. Confirm supervision, permissions, safeguarding, resources and approved budget.
5. Set dates and a manageable division of work.
6. Keep contracting and spending with authorized adults.
7. Record actual completed contributions and feedback from the people served.
8. Publish names, images or stories only with the required approvals.
9. Reflect on what changed and what should happen next.
