How this practice works
These are constructed decision situations with simplified fielding times and authored contact outcomes. Areas are schematic; a fielder covers the marked region in this exercise. Times make the running decision inspectable; they are not predictions for a real match. A good choice can have an unsuccessful outcome. This activity practises judgement, not physical batting technique. The responses depend on the delivery and the batter’s stated shots; they are not an exhaustive list of strokes. Compare them against the field, boundary distances and chase equation.
Only information available at the current stage is shown. The T20 examples use up to six deliveries and full length men’s T20I fielding phases (two outside the circle in the powerplay, five afterwards); local and junior playing conditions may differ. Your challenge link shares the situation, not your answers or identity.
