Titans Youth Council

A voice in the community.
Responsibility through action.

Young people can help shape Titans, lead supervised projects and make a useful contribution beyond their own game.

Proposed membership model

Free. Voluntary. Open to eligible enrolled youth.

VOICE

One member, one vote

Under the proposed governing framework, Youth Council members elect the two parent directors and retain statutory membership rights. Parents do not receive a vote simply by being parents.

ACTION

Lead something real

Plan a mentoring activity, support a community event or develop a supervised service project. Publish the work, the result and what was learned.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Adults remain responsible

Adults supervise youth activities and hold legal, financial and safeguarding authority. Council membership does not authorize a young person to sign contracts or spend funds.

Membership & recognition

A title should describe real participation.

Who can join?

The proposed Council welcomes eligible enrolled Titans youth, including minors. The published youth eligibility and membership process must be adopted and available before admission opens. Membership is voluntary and free.

Is Council membership selected by playing ability?

No. It is not conditioned on squad or travel selection, academy affiliation, donations, fundraising, purchases or volunteer hours. Leadership responsibilities should describe actual work.

Will every Council member be shown publicly?

Only members who agree to publication, with guardian approval where required. Public visibility is separate from membership and voting rights.

Can alumni stay involved?

The proposed framework allows alumni to continue in nonvoting mentoring and service roles after youth eligibility ends.

Project ideas · not announced activities

Start small. Finish something useful.

MENTOR

Welcome a new family

Help explain the cricket landscape through a supervised orientation and a reviewed resource.

SERVE

Plan an equipment project

Next Innings is the working equipment reuse concept. A project needs an adult lead, accepted item criteria, a recipient and collection arrangements.

ORGANIZE

Support a community event

Own a defined task with adult supervision. Record what was completed and who benefited.
